Powder coating is a dry, free-flowing powder that is used as a finishing product on capable surfaces. Powder coat is applied by an electrostatic charge and is then cured by heat. The benefit of using powder over paint is that powder coat is much stronger and tougher than conventional paint. Powder coating is applied to many metals including but not limited to; aluminum and steel. Powder coating is environmentally friendly, cost effective, and tough.

Services
Metal Works Powder Coating provides everything in house at one location. We have an indoor blasting cabinet for small items and a large outdoor wet/dry blasting booth for all large items that require surface prep. All surface preparation and phosphating (metal pre-wash) is done in-house in order to expedite the turnaround time of our process. Metal Works Powder Coating has two batch ovens (20′ x 10′ and 12′ x 6′). We also have a large (20′ x 10′) powder coating booth with the newest filtration system to help serve you better.
